Four journalists were detained by the Angolan police when trying to cover the demonstrations in Luanda. The four professionals taken by the authorities – who are in an uncertain part – work on radio Essencial and in the newspaper Economic value. Speaking to Lusa, Nelito Ekuikui said there was no reason to justify the aggression and said he was detained for about an hour, accusing the authorities of “excessive use of force†and of committing an illegal act.
